Unfortunately, I did not come out the way I wanted to, but I was forced out. I was called on by peers and groups. Being different from the rest is tough and hard to find acceptance. This experience has taught me something important: We need to be proud of ourselves. When you accept yourself, that is when you will stop looking for validation from others. I am uniquely and beautifully being the person who is able to laugh and cry. I am glad to live through the dark phase. Now I am able to be loved by my partner, friends, and family.
